Baby Shower Cake

This is the first cake I made money on charged for. I spent way too much time at Hobby Lobby and Michaels to have made any $. I started making cakes about 6 months ago and have done a few for family. I have a friend who was having a baby shower, and I was asked to do her cake. It was a lot of fun and I am learning so much with every one that I do.

My sister celebrated her 16th birthday while we were in Colorado so I wanted to make her a cake. The last one I made was so crooked, I decided to try a topsy-turvy cake. She seems very surprised!

Colton's 3rd Birthday Party

Colton had a great birthday today. We went to the lake and had pizza and cake, then did lots of fishing. The kids caught several catfish and had a wonderful time.

Colton has been working on potty training. He gets so excited when he gets a sticker for going potty.

Brody reached a milestone that I have been looking forward to for a long time. He gets to go to nursery!!! Now that both boys are in there, maybe I can actually go to my meetings.

I ran in the HOGG 5k race with some friends and won 1st place in my age group and 6th overall. I don't want to admit how many people were in the race, because this is probably the only time I will ever place, but there were only 18.

Jesslyn ran a mile in the Prarie Dog Race. Since it was her first race, I ran with her and we both got medals, even though she beat me.

The Curls Are Gone

I finally got sick of people calling my handsome little BOY a pretty little GIRL, so Brody had to have his 1st haircut. Well his first real haircut, if you don't count the time when the nurses at the hospital glued his IV to his head and had to cut some hair to get it out. It was very hard for his big sis who cried the entire time, and still cries everytime she thinks about it. He also started walking the same week (it's about time)!!! So he changed instantly from my little baby to a big boy.
