Welcome Home Brody!

Thanks for the gifts!
Doing time and Covenant Childrens Hospital
It will take more than this to slow me down
Hangin' out at the crib
That morphine makes me fell like I'm floating
Getting a few minutes of sleep before he gets poked again

Brody was finally able to come home Tuesday after 9 days in the hospital. We took him to the ER with a swollen ankle, and after x-rays, bloodwork, and an MRI, they found an infection in his right ankle joint. He had 3 surgeries over 6 days to drain and clean his ankle. He is home at last and he is doing well. He is still on antibiotics for the next 4 weeks and the incisions on his ankle will take time to heal. At least now he will have a good excuse for not walking, and he'll have some good battle scars to show off. It amazes me how brave and tough our little man is. We want to thank everybody for their help, support and prayers during the last few weeks. We are so happy to finally have him home!

Danette! I had no idea! We are so glad to hear that Brody is home and doing well. So sorry to hear about your ordeal and I wish we could have been more helpful. I know this comes a little late, but please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

He is one tough little trooper. It is such a relief to have him back in action terrorizing at my parents house again.
